DAY 044: He looks lost

October 4, 2008 | Saturday

IT’S MORNING AND the round of those going out to stretch are in the recreation cages. Elkie Taylor is walking around. He looks lost. He still doesn’t have shoelaces on his shoes and his shirt is torn badly.

What a big deal I felt about telling Elkie that my execution date has been rescheduled. I just spent the last hour speaking to him. His expression didn’t change much when I told him about my date being rescheduled.  He only blinked his eyes and started talking about his medication and the problems he had. I really should start exercising because the DAllas Cowboys are playing tomorrow! If they start losing I may be called on to save the day. Or  maybe I’ll just coach from afar?! Who knows what tomorrow may bring but I gotta be ready. Go to be in game shape!

To my precious friend. Yes, Richard and I do believe in you. The tumor in the ankle cracked me up–love the inside joke!

    Love ya,

What position would you play? You need to practice your skills. Keep working out!

Poor Elkie, I am afraid that he did not find the way to escape the realty like you, did he?
Well, Rogelio, I think you will have to choose:
Reading what you wrote in your “Day 29” about “legal assistant/paralegal diploma course by correspondence, which I hope to one day participate in” and “I may be called on to save the day” , I am wondering what You will be: legal assistant or coach for the Cowboys?
Please stop make me laugh like this!
You are making an art of self derision…

Hey Rogelio, I heard that Tony Romo will be out two more weeks with a broken pinkie finger. Maybe you could replace him? And I’m sorry that the Cowboys lost a key player.
